By comparing the sequence of a 1.3kb junction fragment amplified from a homozygous mutant to a public genome sequence, this allele was found to comprise a 216 kb deletion that extends from intron 1 to 148 kb downstream of the polyadenylation sequence, removing all but the first exon of the Tbx15 gene.
