Acts upstream of or within several processes, including cellular response to leukemia inhibitory factor; peptide cross-linking via chondroitin 4-sulfate glycosaminoglycan; and positive regulation of cell-substrate adhesion. Located in collagen-containing extracellular matrix. Is expressed in Sertoli cell and germ cell of testis.
