Biomarker of hepatitis; middle cerebral artery infarction; renal cell carcinoma; status epilepticus; and transient cerebral ischemia. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including Graves' disease; angiomyolipoma; carcinoma (multiple); eye disease (multiple); and reproductive organ cancer (multiple).
