Acts upstream of or within layer formation in cerebral cortex; phosphatidylinositol metabolic process; and ventricular system development. Located in membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; genitourinary system; integumental system; nervous system; and respiratory system. Used to study hydrocephalus.
