Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; dorsal root ganglion; olfactory epithelium; and retina. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in spinal muscular atrophy with lower extremity predominance 2A and spinal muscular atrophy with lower extremity predominante 2B.
