Involved in negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts upstream of or within gamete generation. Predicted to be located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; early conceptus; gonad; and lower urinary tract. Orthologous to human KLF17 (Kruppel like factor 17).
