Enables lamin binding activity and transcription corepressor activity. Involved in negative regulation of cardiac muscle hypertrophy in response to stress. Acts upstream of or within negative regulation of cardiac muscle hypertrophy and negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Located in PML body; nuclear envelope; and sarcolemma.
