Pakap - paralemmin A kinase anchor protein

This locus represents naturally occurring readthrough transcription between the neighboring Palm2 (paralemmin 2) and Akap2 (A kinase (PRKA) anchor protein 2) genes on chromosome 4. The readthrough transcript encodes a fusion protein that shares sequence identity with each individual gene product.
