Involved in phosphatidylinositol-mediated signaling; regulation of exocytosis; and regulation of neuron projection development. Located in cytoplasmic vesicle; cytosol; and plasma membrane. Is active in several cellular components, including calyx of Held; postsynaptic cytosol; and presynaptic cytosol. Colocalizes with dense core granule.
