Enables urotensin II receptor activity. Involved in several processes, including positive regulation of circadian sleep/wake cycle, REM sleep; positive regulation of circadian sleep/wake cycle, wakefulness; and regulation of blood pressure. Located in early endosome; plasma membrane; and recycling endosome. Used to study acute kidney failure; endomyocardial fibrosis; and hypertension.
