Acts upstream of or within N-acylethanolamine metabolic process and phospholipid metabolic process. Located in plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including ganglia; gut; lower urinary tract; lung; and nasal cavity epithelium. Orthologous to human GDE1 (glycerophosphodiester phosphodiesterase 1).
