Involved in negative regulation of DNA-binding transcription factor activity and negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts upstream of or within cell differentiation; nervous system development; and regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Part of transcription regulator complex. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; embryo mesenchyme; genitourinary system; and sensory organ.
