Involved in several processes, including calcium-ion regulated exocytosis; regulation of secretion by cell; and regulation of vesicle-mediated transport. Acts upstream of or within plasma membrane repair. Located in several cellular components, including GABA-ergic synapse; cytoplasmic vesicle; and presynaptic membrane. Is active in glutamatergic synapse. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; genitourinary system; nervous system; respiratory system; and sensory organ.
