Cr1l - complement C3b/C4b receptor 1 like

This gene encodes a membrane-bound inhibitor of complement activation, which contains several tandemly arranged short consensus repeats (SCRs) of approximately 60 amino acids. The encoded protein may play a role in tumor immune surveillance, which is unrelated to complement inhibition.
