Enables transmembrane transporter binding activity. A structural constituent of postsynaptic density. Involved in excitatory postsynaptic potential and long-term synaptic potentiation. Located in dendrite and glutamatergic synapse. Is anchored component of postsynaptic density membrane. Is active in Schaffer collateral - CA1 synapse. Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; genitourinary system; gut gland; respiratory system; and retina. Orthologous to human MPP2 (MAGUK p55 scaffold protein 2).
