Involved in several processes, including blood vessel diameter maintenance; positive regulation of penile erection; and positive regulation of renal sodium excretion. Located in membrane raft; nuclear membrane; and plasma membrane. Used to study several diseases, including artery disease (multiple); lymphopenia; megacolon (multiple); portal hypertension; and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Biomarker of asthma; hepatopulmonary syndrome; and hypertension.
