Located in several cellular components, including cytosol; nucleus; and synapse. Used to study ichthyosis; post-traumatic stress disorder; and transient cerebral ischemia. Biomarker of breast cancer; intermittent claudication; liver disease; pancreatitis; and priapism. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in chronic myeloid leukemia; glioblastoma; hepatocellular carcinoma; pancreatic ductal carcinoma; and sarcoma.
