Involved in several processes, including positive regulation of uterine smooth muscle contraction; protein phosphorylation; and response to hydrogen peroxide. Located in endocytic vesicle; membrane raft; and plasma membrane. Is active in glutamatergic synapse and postsynaptic specialization, intracellular component. Used to study allergic conjunctivitis and human immunodeficiency virus infectious disease. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in immunodeficiency 22.
