Involved in several processes, including mRNA transport; negative regulation of cysteine-type endopeptidase activity; and regulation of intracellular mRNA localization. Located in several cellular components, including neuronal cell body; neuronal ribonucleoprotein granule; and postsynaptic density. Used to study Huntington's disease.
