Involved in several processes, including cellular response to platelet-derived growth factor stimulus; negative regulation of mitochondrial calcium ion concentration; and negative regulation of mitochondrial membrane potential. Located in Golgi membrane; T-tubule; and cytosol. Is active in glutamatergic synapse; neuromuscular junction; and presynaptic cytosol. Used to study hypertension.
