Involved in cell migration; negative regulation of cell-cell adhesion; and regulation of microvillus assembly. Acts upstream of or within leukocyte migration. Located in apical plasma membrane and microvillus membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including cranium; genitourinary system; intraembryonic coelom; nervous system; and sensory organ.
