Enables protein kinase binding activity. Involved in presynaptic dense core vesicle exocytosis and synaptic vesicle priming. Acts upstream of or within catecholamine secretion and vesicle organization. Located in cytoplasmic vesicle. Is active in glutamatergic synapse. Is expressed in several structures, including adrenal gland; heart; nervous system; olfactory epithelium; and retina. Orthologous to human CADPS (calcium dependent secretion activator).
