Enables sulfuric ester hydrolase activity. Involved in several processes, including positive regulation of neuron projection development; response to estrogen; and response to methylmercury. Located in several cellular components, including Golgi apparatus; lysosome; and rough endoplasmic reticulum. Used to study mucopolysaccharidosis VI.
