Enables endothelin A receptor binding activity and endothelin B receptor binding activity. Involved in several processes, including cellular response to cytokine stimulus; regulation of secretion by cell; and response to corticosteroid. Located in several cellular components, including Weibel-Palade body; basal part of cell; and rough endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Used to study adult respiratory distress syndrome; coronary artery disease; membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis; metabolic acidosis; and portal hypertension. Biomarker of several diseases, including artery disease (multiple); heart disease (multiple); kidney failure (multiple); lung disease (multiple); and nephritis (multiple).
