Involved in several processes, including negative regulation of viral genome replication; positive regulation of myeloid dendritic cell cytokine production; and regulation of peroxisome organization. Acts upstream of or within RIG-I signaling pathway; positive regulation of defense response to virus by host; and positive regulation of type I interferon production.
