Acts upstream of or within cellular response to corticosterone stimulus; inhibitory postsynaptic potential; and positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Located in nucleus. Part of transcription regulator complex. Is expressed in bladder; brain; embryo; ureter; and urethra of female. Orthologous to human NPAS4 (neuronal PAS domain protein 4).
