Acts upstream of or within G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway; locomotory behavior; and neuromuscular process controlling balance. Located in cilium and plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; genitourinary system; respiratory system; and sensory organ. Used to study Parkinson's disease.
