Enables cysteine-type endopeptidase inhibitor activity involved in apoptotic process. Involved in several processes, including cellular response to hepatocyte growth factor stimulus; intestinal D-glucose absorption; and regulation of plasma membrane bounded cell projection organization. Located in several cellular components, including brush border; filopodium tip; and lamellipodium.
