Involved in negative regulation of DNA-binding transcription factor activity and negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including eye; genitourinary system; heart; nervous system; and respiratory system. Orthologous to human TAF3 (TATA-box binding protein associated factor 3).
