Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; frontal bone primordium; metanephros; otic capsule; and submandibular gland primordium. Used to study Kallmann syndrome and ciliopathy. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in hypogonadotropic hypogonadism 14 with or without anosmia.
