Involved in several processes, including negative regulation of signal transduction; regulation of muscle system process; and relaxation of cardiac muscle. Acts upstream of or within brown fat cell differentiation and spermatogenesis. Located in cytoplasmic side of plasma membrane and cytosol. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; genitourinary system; heart; and immune system. Orthologous to human RGS2 (regulator of G protein signaling 2).
