Involved in several processes, including Golgi to plasma membrane protein transport; phagosome-lysosome fusion; and positive regulation of protein localization to phagocytic vesicle. Acts upstream of or within endocytosis. Located in Golgi apparatus; endosome; and ruffle. Colocalizes with phagocytic vesicle. Is expressed in several structures, including adrenal gland; alimentary system; brain; genitourinary system; and respiratory system. Orthologous to human RAB34 (RAB34, member RAS oncogene family).
