Enables 3'-5' exonuclease activity and enzyme binding activity. Involved in DNA biosynthetic process. Acts upstream of or within DNA replication proofreading and base-excision repair, gap-filling. Part of delta DNA polymerase complex. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; genitourinary system; respiratory system; and sensory organ.
