Located in several cellular components, including actomyosin; kinetochore; and sarcomere. Part of ATAC complex. Is expressed in several structures, including early conceptus; genitourinary system; hemolymphoid system gland; liver; and lung. Orthologous to human KAT2B (lysine acetyltransferase 2B).
