Enables cysteine-type endopeptidase inhibitor activity involved in apoptotic process. Involved in negative regulation of cysteine-type endopeptidase activity involved in apoptotic process. Acts upstream of or within cellular response to estrogen stimulus and negative regulation of apoptotic process. Located in basolateral plasma membrane and cytoplasm. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; immune system; and sensory organ.
