Involved in several processes, including regulation of histone H3-K27 methylation; regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II; and segment specification. Acts upstream of or within cellular response to leukemia inhibitory factor. Part of ESC/E(Z) complex. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; integumental system; and sensory organ.
