Enables chromatin binding activity. Contributes to DNA binding activity. Involved in negative regulation of erythrocyte differentiation. Acts upstream of or within embryonic hemopoiesis and positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Located in nucleus. Part of protein-containing complex. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; embryo mesenchyme; genitourinary system; and sensory organ. Used to study acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
