Enables microtubule motor activity. Involved in Golgi to plasma membrane protein transport and plus-end-directed vesicle transport along microtubule. Located in trans-Golgi network membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including 1st branchial arch; alimentary system; central nervous system; future brain; and sensory organ. Orthologous to human KIF13A (kinesin family member 13A).
