Acts upstream of or within several processes, including male gamete generation; positive regulation of G2/M transition of mitotic cell cycle; and synaptonemal complex disassembly. Located in cell surface; meiotic spindle; and nucleus. Part of CatSper complex. Is expressed in alimentary system; ganglia; medulla oblongata basal plate; testis; and vibrissa.
