Enables mitogen-activated protein kinase binding activity. Acts upstream of or within transition between slow and fast fiber. Located in cell projection; neuronal cell body; and nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; early conceptus; genitourinary system; respiratory system; and tooth. Used to study Williams-Beuren syndrome.
