Is expressed in several structures, including branchial arch; early conceptus; genitourinary system; nervous system; and sensory organ. Used to study hypoparathyroidism-deafness-renal disease syndrome. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in hypoparathyroidism; hypoparathyroidism-deafness-renal disease syndrome; nephrosis; and sensorineural hearing loss.
