Enables protein domain specific binding activity. Acts upstream of or within positive regulation of extrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway via death domain receptors and regulation of cell adhesion. Located in cytoplasm and nuclear envelope. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; early conceptus; genitourinary system; and hemolymphoid system gland.
