Is expressed in several structures, including 1st branchial arch; alimentary system; central nervous system; intervertebral disc; and nose. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; autosomal dominant non-syndromic intellectual disability 33; and spinal muscular atrophy.
