Predicted to enable calcium-dependent protein binding activity and syntaxin-1 binding activity. Involved in positive regulation of synaptic plasticity and regulation of synaptic vesicle fusion to presynaptic active zone membrane. Located in glutamatergic synapse. Is active in calyx of Held.
