Colocalizes with mitochondrial matrix. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; respiratory system; and sensory organ. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in breast cancer; cervical cancer; and urinary bladder cancer. Orthologous to human CDK1 (cyclin dependent kinase 1).
