Located in several cellular components, including intercalated disc; lamellipodium; and zonula adherens. Part of flotillin complex. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; genitourinary system; respiratory system; and sensory organ. Used to study patterned macular dystrophy 2.
