Involved in regulation of NK T cell differentiation; regulation of extrathymic T cell differentiation; and regulation of natural killer cell differentiation. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including animal organ development; artery development; and regulation of B cell activation. Located in cytoplasm and nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; embryo mesenchyme; reproductive system; retina; and skin. Used to study systemic lupus erythematosus.
