Involved in negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts upstream of or within dopamine receptor signaling pathway and regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Predicted to be located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including brain; embryo mesenchyme; genitourinary system; gut; and retina. Orthologous to human KLF16 (Kruppel like factor 16).
