Visceral Steatosis

Visceral Steatosis, also known as fatty metamorphosis of viscera, is related to visceral steatosis, congenital and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease. An important gene associated with Visceral Steatosis is SLC22A5 (Solute Carrier Family 22 Member 5). The drugs Alogliptin and Ursodeoxycholic acid have been mentioned in the context of this disorder.
