Trigeminal Neuralgia, also known as tic douloureux, is related to trigeminal nerve disease and neuroma, and has symptoms including back pain, facial pain and headache. An important gene associated with Trigeminal Neuralgia is SCN9A (Sodium Voltage-Gated Channel Alpha Subunit 9), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Activation of cAMP-Dependent PKA and Cardiac conduction.
